we would like to inform you that after receiving many requests we have
decided to shift the schedule for EKAW 2010 as follows:
submission of papers: April 18th
deadline for reviews: May 14th
notification of acceptance : May 28th
camera-ready papers: 18th of June
This is now more in line with previous editions of EKAW.
The decision has not been easy and we are aware of the fact that this
decision might compromise the perceived quality of the conference. However,
many of the requests received mentioned that the early deadline this year
might compromise the goal of attracting high-quality papers. Thus, we
interpreted this as a clear wish of the community to have the deadline
significantly later than originally planned by us.
The bottom line is that we have decided to shift the deadline in order to
increase the quantity and quality of papers submitted to the conference.
This update will appear on the website very soon. We kindly ask you to
spread the news among your peers who might be writing a paper for EKAW.
Needless to say, there will be no further extensions on this deadline.
